•  Do I need a fishing license?

Yes! Each person over 17 years of age will need a valid fishing license for the state of Michigan. These licenses can be purchased online or at a local bait shop.

How should I dress?

Dress warm enough for the weather! Temps can be cooler on the river, and it’s better to be prepared. Sunglasses are recommended!

What should I bring?

• Appropriate attire for the days weather.
• Beverages
• Snacks
• Lunch is provide for Full Day trips only

Can I bring alcohol?

Alcohol is not prohibited by the Captain, but we ask that you drink responsibly. If we feel that there is a safety risk, the trip may be cancelled without refund.

Are trips cancelled for bad weather?

We will cancel trips for unsafe weather. However, We will still be fishing Rain or Snow! If canceled by the Captian we will reschedule. However, All deposits are non-refundable in the case the booking party does

Where will we be fishing?

We spend time on many rivers across west Michigan. If you have a specific river in mind, please let us know during your booking, but we follow the best bite possible. We are willing to travel wherever we need, to give you the best chance at a trophy fish.

Cancellation Policy

Chrome Outfitters may cancel or reschedule any trip due to adverse weather or fishing conditions; we  do not cancel for rainy or snowy days.

Should we decide to cancel your trip, your deposit will be applied to  another open date of your choosing. Deposits will not be refunded. 

If you cancel your trip for any  reason when the assigned guide would have planned to be on the water, your deposit will be forfeited.

All cancellations must be made in writing by emailing booking@chromeoutfitters.com
